Wow.

First.......I am pretty new to Discoverary. Like under 2 months.

I seen all sort of conflictions in rules, and how they are really played on the server...so i am all sorts of confused.

I been shot at for running.

I been shot at and killed for not running.

I been shot at and killed ,even AFTER i paided.

I been warned and then shot at.

I been killed without warning.


I get told that Traders are NOT required to stop when ''HALT!!'' is yelled out.

I have also seem alot of ********** over the range a pirate can pirate.....Can they demained money when they are 14K away?


As a trader, I am to the point of just not trusting too many people and running like mad.......which just sucks all the fun out of Role Play.

Now, tonights action, seemed to started out fun.

There is a pirate, Viper in this case in the area.

I try to orginize a Trade run with a couple players.

I get two offers of excorts........so....off my group goes.....not soon after i get though a Jump Hole, Viper is all over me.....HALT !

I run, my excorts say: She is under my protection, you'll have to go threw me to get to her!!

Go for it, the Viper pirate replies.

Soon, a fight of ships start......My sheild are almost taken down......my engone wont come on line due to the CD....I start to run....then

RED COMPUTER Signals.................everyone crashes.

The fun stops, and after a few minutes....we get back on.
Viper appears to be mad or something.....I offer to still run some sort of payment to him , when he is servial systems away. We are in PM for a few minues.....ect...ect. Viper tells me to tell ian GOOD FIGHT.

Now...it seems all the fun has been sucked out of the action.

My final 2 cents on this is :

Pirates, say something more than HALT.
Traders, your making 7M a run........have some fun, run around a bit and finnaly give the poor staving space hag 250K for his efforts.


I am sorry that tonights fun....now seems to be 2 pages of *** on the forums.
