Agreed. Bases shooting at neutral tagged/ID'd players (I'm looking at you, KSP-come-Hogosha base in NT) is ridiculous. I'm sick to death of logging in after not playing for a week, undocking from somewhere, and getting my arse shot off by some base which popped up like a mushroom. It's just plain antisocial.

Weap platforms on the plane around normal populated areas should be set to defense only. Either that, or nerf them down so that it takes more than 1 shot to drop a top level freighter shield.

Those 100k off the plane can do what they like.
