subject: Enagement report

I received report about a large group of Corsairs pirating traders headed for Kusari in Sigma 13.

Due to the recent Corsair intrusion and pirating right in the middle of New Tokyo I could not risk having such a fleet so close to Kusari border. I also felt the moral need to protect traders that bring wealth to Kusari.

I assembled a strike force consisting of my bomber, Lieutenant Toshi and ensigns Akamoto and Tyoshiaki. We jumped into Sigma 13 and I warned the Corsair pirates to leave the system at once or we will use deadly force.

They denied.

Closing in on them we found 3 Gunboats and a fighter. The gunboats exploded in a rapid fashion:







Then only the fighter was left. He proved to be a bit harder nut to crack but his fate was inevitable. But then a Corsair cruiser closed in. We focused our fire on the bigger threat and the fighter managed to flee.

Cruiser exploded soon after that.



The new ensigns proved their worth in combat and I shared a bottle of sake with them to honor their skills.
