As with all navies, the Hellfire Legion uses a fair amount of material for the maintenance and repair of their ships. It is time to take out the trash, literally. Waste has to be disposed and new supplies brought in.

Proposed event date and time: Saturday 16th Feb, at 01:00 GMT

Groups:

1. HF and allies
2. LSF and allies
3. BIS and allies (optional)

The story so far:

Loose lips sink ships, as the old saying goes. An off-duty LSF officer who happened to be on Freeport 4 overheard a half-drunk Legionnaire complaining about how much waste backlog the logistics people were dealing with. Let slip were the time and date of the waste removal convoy. Also mentioned was that the convoy would move through Bretonia. Armed with this info, the LSF man goes to his superiors and reports an opportunity to strike at the Hellfire Legion. However, they might have to get permission from their Bretonian counterparts, or perhaps even conduct a joint operation. The HF, on their part, know that the details of the plan were leaked in the Freeport 4 bar, but due to the urgency of the logistics situation, have no choice but to stick to the plan.

Expected flow of events:

1) From the posting of this event to the actual event date, RP should be done via comms channel to indicate the attending parties.

Example:
HF sends a message to Mollys asking for escorts through Bretonia, and Mollys reply indicating the number of ships they can spare.

2) On the event day itself, HF will assemble in Vespucci and attempt to move through Magellan to Bretonia. Most likely there will be an Liberty Lawful blockade there somewhere, yes?

3) Upon successful entry into Bretonia, HF will proceed with their objective of waste disposal / purchase of raw materials.

Due to the expected length of time taken for the convoy to travel, it is not feasable to have the Liberty Lawfuls wait for the convoy's return. Therefore, if they really want to chase the HF, the Liberty Lawfuls will have to find some way to chase HF through Bretonia.

AFAIK, Liberty Lawfuls are only allowed into Bretonia for the purpose of combating the Gallic threat...?

Either way, event will end upon HF's arrival at their sell-point, or when the pursuers give up the chase. However, HF are not to be seen docking on their sell-point.

Ship restrictions:

HF and allies:
1 x Battleship or smaller
1 x Battlecruiser or smaller
1 x Cruiser or smaller
3 x Gunboat or smaller
10 x Snubs (fighters/bombers)
∞ x Transports

LSF and allies:
1 x Battleship or smaller
1 x Battlecruiser or smaller
3 x Gunboat or smaller
3 x Snubs (fighters)
3 x Snubs (fighters/bombers)
1 x Transport

BIS and allies:
1 x Cruiser or smaller
2 x Gunboat or smaller
5 x Snubs (fighters)
3 x Snubs (fighters/bombers)

Reasoning behind ship restrictions:
HF Cruisers and above are not allowed into Bretonia. It is also unlikely that all the snubs which start out with the convoy will move through to Bretonia with it. Some will have to stay behind and cover the caps in Magellan. Also, due to the large number of transports, can't have too many bombers or they'll just be insta-killed, won't they?
