History:

The Heisenberg Research Station was originally founded in 761 A.S. as a Rheinland government owned observatory and laboratory dedicated to the study of planetary body movements within the resource rich fringes of the Walker Nebula, as well as to record the orbital phenomenons around Planet Steinfurt. A minor research station, it remained crewed by a small number of scientists for the next 6 years until the Rheinland government faced yet another wave of overbearing financial cuts and had decided to abandon the station. Powered down and abandoned for the next 50 years, Heisenberg fell into steady disrepair before eventually being repressurised by a group of squatters following the chaos of the Nomad War.

With most of its research equipment still intact and the stabilisation of a number of surrounding jump holes the station quickly found itself in the middle of many fringe trade and smuggling routes. Frequented regularly by passing explorers and adventurers, Heisenberg became something of a small freeport, while at the same time attracting many astronomers and astrophysicists from all across Sirius with its scientific equipment, and gaining a reputation of being a politically neutral place for great minds of science to converge and discuss their findings.

In 817 A.S., Prof.Dr. Wilhelm Täll united the scientists in the station and founded the Heisenberg Research Center as a neutral Non-Gouvernment-Organisation.

Code of Conduct:
  1. Heisenberg Research Center is a strictly neutral organisation to all parties in Sirius.
  2. HRC is financed by donations from parties and individuals, who respect and honor article 1.
  3. All space related scientists are welcome to work in HRC, including, but not limited to physicists, astrophysicists, astronomers and medical scientists.
  4. All results of our researchs will be released to the public (maybe limited by proofed security concerns).
  5. HRC will collect astronomic data all over sirius to provide well-founded information to the mankind about risks and dangers in space.

Responsibilities:

Administrator: Prof.Dr. Wilhelm Täll
Deputy Administrator: Dr. Frank Smith (interim)
Scientific Management: Prof. Masao Koizumi (interim)

Financial Encouragement

As Heisenberg Research Center is a Non-Government-Organisation, we are in need of financial encouragement. All donations from all parties are accepted and appreciated. Independently from the amount of payment, the donator accepts he will not have any influence, nether on what, nor on how the money is spend. All spends are discussed and decided in the science council board without any influence from third parties.
To support our work for the mankind, please send your donation to "HRC-ShuttleXI".

Ships used:

- HRC-KopernikusIV E78-12 Spatial Deep Space Explorer
- HRC-KopernikusV E78-12 Spatial Deep Space Explorer
- HRC-ShuttleXI DSE-720 "Camara" Civilian Freighter

Current Activities:

- Collecting and analyzing electromagnetic waves from all over sirius.
- (Reviewing the available map collection of the sirius sector) done
- Project SirEx
