Today's flights will be reported by other convoy members, but I have one report to make: In Omega 7 I was moving to the O3 gate when 3 Hessian Cruisers appeared out of the yellow nebula. They fired disruptors and pirated me for 6 million credits that I paid.



After they threatened to attack an Annapurna miner if he would not hand over 5 million, IMG Defense intervened and took out all of them.


Also, I scored my 5th snub kill on my transport, even though it was only an assist! Chuck.Boris tried to pirate us, but his Eclipse did not cloak early enough and he exploded from the concentrated transport fire.

Today we rescued an [ALG] flight group from piracy twice. In the first case, they were chased through Kyushu by Outcasts. After they jumped in, we took care of the Outcast who promptly retreated.

Later on, the same two [ALG] transports called for help because they were under attack by two pirates near Java.

Rayray and I managed to take them out fast. The ALG continued their journey after some restocking at Java.

I claim, together with Rayray:

We were also fighting some Sabres that tried to harrass our mining operations, but no kills were scored. The enemy retreated to Tau 37 after it became clear that we would not give in.

Small payments were made to convince them that fighting was not worth it. With this combination of threat and payment, we managed to avoid further delays of the convoy's departure successfully.

IMG Defense in Omegas received a call from Julia Morrow, transport division about the piracy attempts of 3 Hessian cruisers. IMG Defense launched and took out all three hostiles in a fierce battle. We lost one bomber in the process. All miners and transports were able to retreat.

After the Cruisers were damaged, diplomatic contacts were opened to the Rotfront that was present and the shooting incident could be clarified. We do not expect to run into hostilities again, as a good solution has been found by dialogue.
