My name is Sogetsu Kazama, The Docking Manager on Kumo Outpost. Japanese for cloud and located in the border worlds of Sirius, Kumo serves as a deep space research complex, vault, way point and sanctuary for all vessels flying with the tags KOG| and KRS|. At one time united without namesake, the KOG| and KRS| were formed in the midst of a martial law. Limited by the amount of ships Kumo's pilots were allowed to operate due to restrictions set forth by the administrators of Kumo's home system. Requiring more resources then the few pilots that were still cleared to fly could provided. As this was a time during Kumo's growth, Miyuki Nakamura, Kumo's director proposed a squadron of supply ships be instated. These ships would fly under a single tag that was recognized as no threat to martial law as it currently stood. these ships would also need to maximize their cargo capacities as well as maintain a reputation of non-hostility. The logical choice was the ZBT-100Z 2's as only a few of these resource ships could be commissioned. Christened with names of trust and truth, The Kumo Resource Squadron was a success. Accomplishing many upgrades to the base it self and increasing its own ranks to include DL class BWT's, The KRS| and Kumo began to flourish in spite of the hindrance of its pilots due to martial law. All cog work is not without its occasional wrench though, and this one came in the form of a capital ship with hostile intentions. Kumo needed security and weapons platforms were still a long way away from construction and we were still short on ships that we could fly. So the answer was the same as before, form a wing of ships for the defense of Kumo and The KRS|. The Kumo Outpost Guard was created. A small fleet of only 4 was commissioned comprised of a Corvo, a Fearless and two Conferences. Named after the might of Wind and Water, The KOG| ships provided the security needed to see Kumo Outpost and the KRS| through its completion of constructions and the remainder of the martial law. The KRS| and KOG| continue to supply Kumo as well as other nearby Zoner installations such as Phoenix Spaceport. I am sending this transmission concerning access to Pueblo Bonito for several reasons: The aquisition of ships to increase the ranks of both the KOG| and KRS|. The desire to explore any trade opportunities to and from Baffin and to expand relations with our fellow Zoners. Therefore on behalf of Kumo Outpost, The KRS|&KOG|, I respectfully request access to Pueblo Bonito from the Popes and Templars of The TAZ. In addition to the access fee required of all pilots. I would also offer the KRS| to supply Ravenhurst and Pueblo Bonito with: Basic Alloys, Food Rations, Water, Oxygen, Various Fuels and any other items you might require/desire. I have also provided Hyperspace Coordinates in a private channel for both Ravenhurst and Kumo Outpost. I have also added The TAZ to our docking manifest so please be our guest whenever you like.
