Adapting does not mean that we've killed the faction, changing our recruitment process did not kill the faction and asserting that I would allow anyone in my High Command to accept an applicant who can't speak English, let alone RP...is completely out of line, you should at least know me better than that.
Yes, the people in my High Command have varied degrees of experience as far as Disco leadership, but that's okay, they're not just there to help me out, they're also there to learn, and when they make mistakes, it's MY job to put them in their place, which I do.
Yes, Alvin leaving was a pretty major blow, but thanks to my efforts, and yes, even the efforts of some 'inexperienced' members of my High Command, we've managed to keep the faction alive, and for a time there, our activity even spiked as well.
Lest you forget, Jayce, even before Alvin left, the SCRA was a zombie faction, only logging substantial activity when raids took place. I changed that, at least for a little while.
Sure, I much prefer our old recruitment process, it was unique, it was cool, and yes, it was even intimidating, but the SCRA would not still be a thing, had we stuck to it, our faction activity was and is far too low for that, and we've lost too many members.
I didn't ask to be the leader of the SCRA, I had that responsibility dumped on me after Joey pushed Alvin out and then took off running for the hills when things got too hard for him.
I've bent over backwards trying to save this faction, but even I've come to terms with the fact that it will never again be what it was back when I was a junior member back in 2008 or so. It's a different faction now, but we've held onto the lore and the same values this faction has always had.
Were it not for me, and the other people who Joey threw into High Command during his brief time as leader, this faction would have died when he left.
