You were a Japanese whaling ship, and we were Greenpeace, fighting alongside the dolphins and whales.

Except this Greenpeace has military hardware, and the dolphins have lasers strapped to their heads.

Where did you find that omicron 99 is holy place for outcast?

It's been the case since Vanilla that Omicron 90 is the threshold of the "spirits", and that there and beyond is somehow sacred. This is why you see all those outcast fighter wrecks around the Omicron 90 hole in Omicron Alpha. Those are coffins for dead pilots, put to rest under the protection of the spirits.

All of this information can be found in the rumours and infocards in Outcast bases, which have, as I said, existed since the original Freelancer build.

For as long as I have played on this server, which is many years now, Outcasts and Nomads have been at peace, and helped each other at times. (Mostly it's Outcasts going to help Nomads, rather than the other way around. Which is as it should be, I think.)

Alpha in particular has been a place where the Nomad players (the "Keepers." in those days) could go for peaceful roleplay, where they could relax safe in the knowledge no-one was about to shoot them. That is very rare for a Nomad player. They're on edge almost everywhere else in Sirius, because everyone else is ostensibly hostile to them.

Because of this relationship the bond between Nomads and Outcasts as a faction developed to be more familiar and friendly than the mystical reverence in the rumours and infocards.

I often play very reverent Outcasts.
