Reunited

An odd, yet exciting feeling was overcoming her. It was the first time in ages since she last saw her family. The girl never admitted it, but something made her miss her family all the time. Probably natural, she thought. After all, she was on her own, most of the time.

She thought back to when she landed on Rochester and how she got cut off from her parents. It wasn't happening with the agreement of her own head, after all. Christina Ross. That was the name how she used to be called by her friends and family. During the time on Rochester however, that name got lost and just became Christina. Hell, she didn't even know if her family knew she was still alive. It all was becoming more and more exciting as her mind traveled through these old memories.

But today everything should become better. At least the weather on Los Angeles was nice. Sunshine with just a few clouds on the sky. But most importantly, not as hot as on Curacao, she thought to herself with a small smile. She could see the land on which her family would live. Christina could see the house with people being outside, either working or enjoying their free time. Deciding to land her ship a bit away from the house, on a landing pad not many clicks away, the girl paid the parking fee and eventually headed to her destination. She was somewhat excited the more steps she took towards that house of her family. The young woman changed her clothes before however, finding a flight suit rather odd to wear in a situation like this.

Once more she was looking back into her past. She could recall she had a little brother. 'Mark was his name, wasn't it?' Were the girl's thoughts as also trying to get the names of her father and mother into her head again. 'Martin...and..Lexine..?' She peeked on her PDA once more to fully recall their names. Christina nodded to herself. Not that hard to remember, after all. However, the time had come as she was only a few steps away from her parents'.

A man around the older 40's was seemingly doing some work outside as he shifted in- and outside a couple of times. It didn't take her long to recognize who it was. The man, however, noticed the young woman closing in, greeting her with a wave of his hand. "Good day, Miss. You searching for something?" "Y-yeah..I am here to see my...my family.." The man frowned at the girl and went a bit closer to her. "Here? You must be mista-..." The man's eyes widened as he slowly seemed to recognize her. "Chris..Christina..?" She started to smile softly and nodded slowly. "I'm back home...Dad.."
