Already been answered a couple of times.

KNF wasn't consulted about Itabashi when it was created. The KSP made it when they were official, which is all k. It was their right to, and KSP iff wasn't a problem either.
Then, KNF wasn't consulted when it was suddenly sold to BDS without a single news thread or anything. It was just "IFF goes from KSP to Hogosha without notice".

West made a thread from KNF HC ordering BDS to change the IFF back to KSP or to disable the turrets.
Thread was shot down because the government folks weren't informed beforehand.
Alright.

Now we're down to the root of the problem, according to me.
The government chat is pretty much useless. Because its member aren't doing anything unless it involves directly their faction.

Samura is over represented, which makes little sense when Samura would have been supposed to loose a lot of influence since the Creation of the Republic. Hogosha would be supposed to keep a low profile too. After all, they were used by Samura (along with FA, now criminals) to crush the keiretsu opponents.

People supposed to have an active role in Kusari government are hardly active, except when the issue touches their own interest. That's one of the main thing rendering the house of Kusari really awful to play for. That and the absence of anything to do.

Those words may sound harsh, but they are my opinion about this. Sorry.

Aye alot of what you say is the truth.
I will point out a few things though.
Samura may be over represented in the government, so I would say that the Kishiro leader should add his 2IC in there as maybe you should be added too.
I will also say that the only input I have put in there so far has been to back Kishiro as I too find them under represented for how they should be.
Hogosha has no representation in there at all.
And a move was made to bring in a new P.M with no connection to any of the factions to bring about a fair viewpoint.
If you wish I will gladly add you myself into that chat and we can start to make it better.

Now the base in question, yes I find it a bit silly that it sits there shooting GMG ships, a number of paths were suggested that involved the GMG faction and that base being forced to change.
Alas not many were interested.
Unfortunately the strongest rally for that base came more from the non-Samura side, go figure.
Hogosha are not just Samura's lapdogs that is the Farmers, Hogosha have done quite a bit of changing sides to snuggle up to Kishiro with the change of government and this too has caused Samura to rethink it's relationship with them.

If Ryoken wants to lob a few mortars at the base for firing on civilians, I say good on him and it does suit his RP so why not.
But Ryoken, please don't have such low words towards the other captain, Trail's RP was every bit as good as yours, a lot would say better.
How about RP'ing it out as you say you like to do instead of just trying to sanction bait someone eh?

So to sum it all up, Yao, please think about coming into the government, it could use you.
