I think it's safe to say that there is definitely a schism within the Gaians since the Gaul invasion, but personally, I'm not sure how detailed that rift is gonna be, so for my part, I'm trying to not speak in absolutes.
I reckon there are numerous splinters of thought. Yarrr pirate Gaians, tree huggin' 'save the Jeweled Windbird' type Gaians, Green Front 'can't we come to a compromise?' Gaians, "Kill 'em all" type Gaians & those I default to, the grizzled hard-corps Guard type who are both civilized & feral at the same time.
Scout is the faction leader while I'm just a cheerleader, and the final word is hers...I can at least say that we will grow and adapt as we go along, but the primary key to this particular brand of Gaianing is "The Gaia Principle" which illustrates duality by way of arguably being both scientific and spiritual; simultaneously illustrating the beauty & brutality of Nature.
