As most people know, we've had trouble with denial-of-service attacks over the last week. They actually started some time ago and have been a bit of a pain.

We have restructured parts of the server infrastructure to provide better resilience when we are attacked. Although we can't guarantee uninterrupted server operation, we are a little more robust. This improved resilience software is somewhat experimental and so please be patient while we work on this. We have further improvements to make, in particularly reducing lag for all players.
Finally, as people were unable to supply their bases while the server was offline, we've decided to roll back the entire player database, ships and bases, to a few minutes before the biggest attack. Our apologies for any time and effort you may have spent after this but the last week didn't happen.
