History:

• Before the Lance: Alessan was born as the son of Aurelio Contari and a prostitute (whom Aurelio has refused to identify). His father believed that women could not effectively raise children, so he lacked any women of importance in his childhood. The boy spent the first ten years of his life in a position of relatively low importance, being the heir of a very minor branch of the Contari family, so he was left alone for almost all of his free time to develop independently. He was put through a decent education system, and he excelled for the first few years of his schooling.
  
  
  However, by age 12, he'd all but given up on his education, and had begun dedicating his life towards the various things that interested him, independently studying literature and music. He began developing close ties with his cousin, Elaria Contari, though she often treated him condescendingly and she surpassed him in most things they took interest in. Though he often felt jealous of his more skilled cousin, he rarely attempted to better himself or compete with her. He was content, to a degree, with the status of their relationship.
  
  
  When Aurelio took over the Contari family, he began the process of having Alessan groomed and trained for his position. For the next several years, his contact with Elaria was almost non-existent, as was his free time. Whenever he did have free time, he’d spend it seeking a woman of comfort. Aurelio, though enraged by Alessan’s new pastime, did nothing. He chose to chalk the reason up to his own failure, keeping Alessan from his mother, and he decided that Alessan had reached an age where little could be done to fix his problem.

• After the Lance: After Aurelio decided that Alessan was successfully prepared to succeed him, he put Alessan in charge of the Contari Lance, deciding that the only things he had left to learn should be learned through experience. Alessan’s first move as Comandante of the Lance was to put his once valued friend Elaria, in an equal position of power.
  
  
  Currently, he commands the Lance harshly, often resorting to torture when something goes wrong or when someone decides to anger him, though he doesn’t enjoy it, he feels he must follow in Aurelio’s footsteps to be a competent leader. When he’s off duty, he’s most often found at a brothel, namely the Vizio, continuing his noble pursuit, .
