With no support remaining, Umi brought her scorched ship around Fuji, masking herself from the damaged but very much intact vanguard of Nagata. The Chrysanthemums had eventually been quite useful in distracting them, in that regard at least.
She had managed to pick up a few pods, unsure of who was there. Flicking on her comms, a response came through...
"Who am I talking to? I could not pay attention to who I picked up during that mess."

"Captain Ishikawa. Move to our RV point, please." relied a man's voice gravely.
"H-hai. Are you injured?"
"I'm fine. Mostly. Did you pick up anybody else?"
"I did."

The bomber had almost reached the Shikoku gate, to meet the heavy support through there. Takada started to scour the channels for the encrypted channel she'd been instructed to use.
"Are there any others awake? There were two of you in bombers, hai, and I believe I was able to get the pod of the captain of our gunboat. The final comms message sounded as though he was injured in the explosion."
"I'll take a look. Tell me when we're approaching Kyushu." replied the man.

She was tempted to tell him she was heading to Shikoku system, but she abandoned that idea, focusing on her navigation and the scanner instead.
Meanwhile, the man quickly checked the other pods. The two officers seemed to be unconscious but not hurt too badly.

"They will only be in further danger if we all are, I doubt their injuries are too serious. Our pod design is well-suited in the rare occasions it is needed." she simply said after a while, worried about the fleet potentially chasing her ship.
She then attempted to reach their base and, having found the correct channel, sent an encrypted broadcast : "Shirayuki, this is Takada. Requesting support to pull out from New Tokyo. I am nearing the gate to Shikoku now."
"Copy. You will have to reach our position. We are standing by near Kyushu jumphole in Sayiun cloud, Shikoku System. Are you being followed?"
"No, they were distracted by the 'Sisterhood' who were hassling us from Ainu. I should be with you in a moment, although I do not know how safe we are. Would Nagata not have the Taus locked down already, starting with the Nagumo?"
"This was foreseen. This vessel is a light carrier and isn't exactly attached to the Kyushu division. The carrier has an authorization to refuel on Myoko. We shall discuss further about it once you docked"
"Hai, that seems most sensible. You should have us on scanners soon, if there is no interference from the nebula."
She then flicked shortly to the internal comms, "Brace yourself for docking with the light carrier Shirayuki. We can talk further once you are out of the hold".
The man responded curtly. "Alright. See you in the hangar."

"You are free to dock. Do so swiftly. We don't want a patrol to catch our signature."
