Savona is one of Malta's medium sized towns, and it's owned largely by the Contari family. Contari influence throughout the region is obvious; the town's flag is an exact duplicate of the Contari family's. With a population of thirty-five thousand (though only half of the population consists of free men), the town of Savona has minor industrial facilities, several large Cardamine plantations, and a few commercial farms which provide most of the area's food supply. The most renowned place within the town is Sirius's largest combined Bar and Brothel, the Vizio, which possesses nearly two thousand slaves and employs two hundred Maltese. The Lance's barracks and spaceport are also located within, as well as the Contari family's set of villas.
