Name: Rekrut Martin Morgenstern. Location: Wolfsburg Shipyard, Omega-54 system.
My first day as a soldier in the Red Hessian Army was quite an eventful one. I decided to position myself at the trade lanes in Stuttgart to solicit contributions to the Red Hessian cause. I had swift success, as within minutes I had stopped a BOWEX transport whose owner was sympathetic to our cause. I was able to coax him to contribute 1 million credits and 16 niobium ore to our cause. While posted at the same trade lane I solicited an independent freelancer hauling passengers in a CTE. He had little knowledge of the Red Hessians, however after some dialogue I convinced him that the Rheinland government was his enemy. He contributed what little he could spare, 900,000 credits, to our cause. After speaking with him, I noticed that a fellow Hessian, Rheinhardt Steinhaus(Independent by the looks of it) was having difficulties with a transport captain that was uncooperative. Push came to shove which came to gunfire and I rushed over to help him. Steinhaus was immediately surrounded by several Rheinland Federal Police officers and, being that he was flying a Thor, I decided to take on the officers myself to leave him free to deal with the trader. I was able to shoot all the RFP out of the sky and Steinhaus completely destroyed the fascist tansport. I then returned to Omega-54 along with an RHA officer to outfit my ship with better equipment. I then returned to Stuttgart where I encountered a Zoner transport. The owner, naturally, was supportive of the Red Hessians and jumped at the opportunity to offer 5 million credits to our cause, his own suggestion. I offered him a complementary blood diamond as a show of support but he turned it down, citing security concerns. Shortly afterward, RFP officer Wach Steiner showed up and[/i][/align] attempted to take me into custody. I promptly radioed in for backup and engaged him. I was joined shortly by LWB fighters and after a prolonged dogfight Steiner retreated. I decided against pursuing him, as my ship was damaged and there would likely be officers to assist him. I then returned to Omega-54 for some fighter practice. I then learned that I dearly need fighter practice. I have attached links to some of the photographs of the day's activities below.
