History:

• Before the Lance: The Atomic Degree was made specially for Lance Biggs in 764AS, being designed to be stationed in deep space for long periods of time. Under the command of Biggs, the Atomic Degree only saw combat two times, and did not have dedicated defense systems. Biggs stationed the ship in many Omicron systems, doing research, recon, and rescue.
  
  
  In early 820 AS, the Atomic Degree came under attack from Corsairs in the Omicron Eta system when he refused to hand over the ship. During the battle, the ship was badly damaged. However, a Contari Lance patrol found the scene, and eradicated the Corsairs. The Lance escorted the Zoner back to Freeport 10. While there, Biggs exclaimed how he wanted to retire, and the Lance made the offer to buy the Corvo

• After the Lance: When the Degree was purchased from Biggs, Rina was put in command, as it was her credits used. The ship was then renamed to the MNS Achaea. The external components of the Corvo were repaired at Valetta Shipyard, but the Lance could not repair the damaged software. Rina decided that the ship would not be fit for combat, and modified it as a personal home.
  
  
  To protect a smuggling run through Sigma 19, Rina was in command of the Achaea to protect the Trieste. Halfway through the system, the convoy came across a TAZ pilot. After a few words were exchanged, Rina asked if there was a software upgrade for the Corvo. The TAZ pilot obliged, sending a fix for the internal systems. The Achaea immediately flew better, and was later modified for combat.
