History:

• Early Years and Family History
  

From a young age, Luke was exposed to many stories of the goods and cash that was taken from the Sirian transport convoys. His parents were both pirates and were very good at what they did. Long term service in the Outcast ranks and always asked to lead high profile runs against the most prominent mining guilds and commerce groups in Sirius, it was exhausting but paid well and gave Luke a healthy lifestyle as a result.

Luke aspired to be like them and his brother who was 12 years older than him did sometimes join his parents if the targets weren't so high profile. Some may have called this "bad parenting" but they lived by the simple belief that, in order to carry on the Orsini reputation, their successors needed the know-how. He dreamed of flying alongside when he was young and told them every day. In the meantime, he went to a normal school and did well from a young age. He was also incredibly socially active with many friends of both genders and was quite popular among the girls who didn't really understand the whole idea of screwing up a traders day (nor would many at such an age) but respected him for having a dream to carry on his family's footsteps.

• The Disaster
  

One day, his parents got too gutsy, they were told of a rich convoy in the Colorado System which, though it took a lot of thought, they decided to try for. The last words Luke heard from them were "When we get back, we're moving somewhere even more beautiful than here"...Luke doesn't know exactly what happened to them but he's been told too many times that simply "Liberty were ready for them". His brother went missing the same day but those who survived the incident told Luke that he wasn't there in the first place.

• The Years that followed...
  

Luke was 13 when his family never returned. He was alone. He had one lifeline and that was access to his parents safe as part of their will. Fortunes were stowed away. He took what he could and traveled hundreds of miles (with the help of family friends) to learn how to fly. By the time he reached 16, he was a qualified pilot and had money to spare to buy himself a decent ship. Using maps, third-party knowledge and word of mouth he was able to explore several sections of Sirius, learning constantly in the process and honing his fighting skills. The Outcasts knew his name and helped him along the way and though many of them are now retired or M.I.A, support motivates him to this day. However, to current day his fighting skills are affected by his emotions, the horror of fighting and seeing people die, reminds him of his parents and it regularly clouds his judgement. He's learning to control it slowly but it may still take time.

• The Lance
  

Not so long ago, Luke entered the Tau-23 System and noticed a member of the Lance having a problem with the IMG, a common problem as of recent. The Lance member appeared to be the victor after his enemy cowardly escaped into Java Station. After a short conversation and a long chase through another Tau System with a member of "The Order" on the run, the member of the Lance who turned out to be the Commander of the faction (Alessan Contari), offered Luke a place in their ranks. It was exactly what Luke had been hoping for. Now it wasn't just vengeance, it was a chance to become as skilled as his parents once were.
