...I was born on Freeport of the Omega-5 system. During a raid of the Corsairs I hid away among the cargo pods that were snitched and taken to Crete. Well as a kid I tried to live and get along in my new home in every way I could. I must have been pretty successful, as a couple of years latter I was already captain of the corsair Gunboat - Sicily. Well, in hindsight this was probably the matter, that I got to close and started to see the bigger picture of my ex-clan and not only the cockpit of my fighter.
Corsairs originaly wanted to rebuild the long lost Hispanic federation but now...it is down to building a pirate empire with blood and steel. It is no noble cause or a strife for a homeland, it is just a simple power game. I realised that I wanted no part in this and two weeks ago I snatched a captured Red Hessian Thor and made my escape.
Unfortunately the cruise engine was damaged and broke down after 50k and I had to go by impulse from then... Hey, I am no mechanic! I know how to fight do tactics and steer vessel, but can make no difference between a Rheinland tri-connection suspension generator and a bipolar tachyon cell.
So I was drifting in space with impulse engine when I fought this book, Code of Red Hessians below my seat. I was reading...and..reading...and...starving and reading...and felt that these are values that I could fight for.
A just homeland is a noble cause to live for. So I turned towards the coordinates of Vogtland (it was in the book) and hoped to be found by the Hessians.
I have no remorse for the traders passing by in Rheinland, as I have witnessed many times prisoners, passangers and pilots left in space to die. Of the corsairs? Don't even get me started...
Well? What do you say? Can I stay or is it the space for me?
