I am very pleased to report that after several convoys and as many life threatening trips into Gaul controlled space, we have obtained the last of the Cryocubes necessary to complete Core level Two on Livadia Palace.
As I said it was really a team effort, requiring many convoys through many dangerous systems.
The bulk of the work was done by (\^/)Grey.Eminence and her 2nd Officer Vincent Chase who deserves most of kudos for the effort. The (\^/)Royal.Flush was present for the majority of the voyages as well as a number of other Phoenix Whales and other transports and escort vessels. All who were involved should be commended for their efforts in this venture.
We were able to the Cryos primarily from Bourbon Base, a Unione Course station in Burgundy and Lodeve Space Port in Languedoc, a Gallic Junkers facility. We are lucky that both groups did not mind helping out a few Zoners from Sirius.
I would also like to point out that we did not suffer a single casualty during the endeavor. There were however, several close calls, highlighted in the final run for the last few hundred needed to complete the project.
The Commanders of the (\^/)Equilibrium and (\^/)Demeter acted most professional, even after being ambushed by several Gallic Capital vessels on the return trip, reminding us all in the heavy risk in acquiring this commodity.
Once all the required materials had been assembled, our engineering teams at Livadia Palace a triple shift. The upgrade was complete in short order, coming online in record time.
This is but the end of our first stage in our progress in Omicron-74. We now look ahead to the beginning of development of Core 3. I hope the next step in our construction will run as smoothly as the last, with no loss of ship or life as well as with a speedy supply chain.
