I will not deny that there are some real cowboys driving trucks out there, but that's just a small number compared to the majority of drivers who do their job without flaws.
And yes, I know no one is perfect and a truckdriver also makes mistakes. Example: A designer in a factory that makes coffee machines designs a new model, this new coffee machine goes in mass production but each and every one of them has a design flaw and they can't be sold. Sure the guy might get fired but it ends there and no one will ever know about it.
But when a truck driver makes a mistake and his truck ends up in a ditch next to the road, it will be on every news broadcast and in every paper.
I am on the road with my truck every day and I can tell each and every one of you that I could do at least 4 accidents a day because of a car driver who cuts me off or suddenly hits the brakes while they're in front of me.
Yours sincerely, a responsible young truckdriver.
Very well said.
Ever notice there can be 30 car accidents in a day that do not make news, but 1 truck is involved, and it is front page?
As to good bye to "luxurious way of life?" say good bye to everything. There is not 1 household item that is not delivered/transported by a truck to where you purchase it.
