Peoples mentality about Piracy demands baffles me..

Ah well, piracy - my favourite activity on disco!

I can`t agree with the op that money-piracy is harder than cargo piracy, my experiance is quite the inverse.
Multiple times traders offered me outrageous(!! More than i would ever demand) sums of money if i only spared their cargo(which i usually demand 500-1000 units of if it is a 3,6k+ Transport) - i get people who drop and shoot the cargo claiming they fulfilled my demand by "dropping it", all that jazz.
When it comes to cash piracy people are a lot more willing....

Talking on "what to demand and expect" - while i personally don`t to the nefarious 50k piracy Valeria does i try to adjust my demands on ship-size, cargo(or lack of) and fun of the general encounter/sympathy.
So the range is from 0 Credits for a funny guy running empty to 5-10 mil for a 5ker full of ore trying silent running.
What works best to get that cash for me is toaim for a fun encounter that is personalize not the same old 2mil or die 10times over...so far that works acceptably well and i do earn all my cash by working the lanes


What i don`t understand with traders is that they do very boring stuff(to me) following waypoint after waypoint. Only interaction cheers things up and pirates are one kind of interaction, so why do some of you guys don`t make the best out of it, after all while you are clicking waypoint after waypoint that pirate dude was idling around for 20min waitng for something to happen- cash is ok, but the encounter is what keeps disco running!
