First, allow me to present myself. My name is David Leroy and I'm the president of a small corporation, known as Liberty Trade Shipping. I will try to be very concise...
Liberty Trade Shipping corporation has origins in Liberty space, but our headquarter is located in Kusari. We know very well the relations between Bretonia and Kusari! To be very honest, we are not entirely agree with the restrictions imposed by authorities from Bretonia related to the freedom of trade with Kusari Empire, because we think that all these restrictions, affect the living standards of civilians from the both houses. But... we are only traders and of course, is not our competence to decide what is good for your peoples. One of our goals is to not be involved in the divergences between local authorities from Bretonia and Kusari Empire. It was just a personal opinion and should be treated as such is. Maybe in the future some of these things will be changed... or maybe not.
As we did previously in Kusari Empire, we will do it also in Bretonia: we will always try to respect local laws. Because we don't want as our vessels to be considered a kind of smugglers in your house, we will comply with decree of Home Secretary Sebastian Clarke and we decided to purchase a trading license for Liberty Trade Shipping, valid for Tau system. Not so long ago, some of our vessels were stopped by one officer of the Bretonian authorities, BPA)C.Ins|C.Renei[SRD], which informed my employees about the need to purchase such a license, of course after he asked first to be paid the Tau Tax, in accordance with "Bretonian Interstellar Law; 2.1 - Prohibition of Cargo Transported to the Tau Sytems". Was for the first time when my pilots heard about this tax and it is possible that their reaction to have been a little inappropriate. Please to accept our apologies if it was so...
Anyway, as I saw, is necessary also to inform you about our reputation with BAF and BPA, right ? I attached to this message all documents required, including the payment papers. I know... perhaps you'll be a little disappointed because we are only neutrals with BPA and BAF, but... this is our general position towards armed forces from the most houses, with exception of those from Rheinland. About our relations with Gallic Royal Navy, what can I say ? I already said that Liberty Trade Shipping prefer to remain neutral with the military authorities and this is valid including for Gallic Royal Navy, although, unfortunately, they do not treat us in the same way, as long they having a generally hostile attitude towards any libertonian, even if is a simple trader. It's good to know that we have no intention to cooperate with any faction or group from Gallia. But... on the other hand, Liberty Trade Shipping is trying to establish friendly relations with some corporations from Bretonia. Maybe this will count for you, when the decision about license will be taken and we hope to have fruitful collaborations in the future for the peoples from Bretonia and Liberty.
Oh... and one more small remark: as you can see, we have Interspace affiliation but we are not the same with the more well known corporation, called Interspace Commerce. I specified this because we want to be avoided any confusion.
