Her attention was caught by the distracted man at the bar who finally answered her question, her mind went of on a tangent thinking how silly the name everclear was for a drink when she heard the distinct sound of glass shattering. When the freelancer turned she noticed that her little attempt at being nice for a change was not well received, she decided then and there that she didn't like this guy. Dislike was an understatement.
Shifting her weight from one leg to the other the security officer half heard the self glorifying rant directed at her before smiling at him. She was looking for trouble now. "Wow." She plopped loudly in the booth along with the stranger. "Ain't you the big kahoona. Running Sirius and all..." She then looked around the bar, taking it in as if it was the first time. "I always tought you big 'baus' types liked more classy places." She spared the barman a look. "No offense." Dayayra's attention came back to the man sitting across from her. "But you're right, we both got better things to do, I'll let you continue whatever it is you do to get by in your miserable life." And with that she stood up, sarcasm evident in her every move and the synthetic smile on her face was far from the authentic thing. "B'bye... Sucker."
She made her way back to the bar but this time sat herself closer to James so she can keep an eye on the new friend she had just made, in case he wanted to shake her hand. The alcohol in her system making her think that she could handle anything that he may or may not throw at her.
Turning back to James she tried to remember what he had said, he introduced himself first and then went on to say that he was the captain of... "The Counterfeit Coin eh?" Just like that her tone changed to a genuinely friendly one. "I've seen your ship around the New York system plenty of times." She stretched out a hand to him. "Dayayra Burgos, I fly for USI keeping pirates away and all that." She introduced herself properly while looking over James shoulder at a very odd character playing with a coin.
"So James you a trader I reckon?" She asked him. "I am a part time freelancer by the way. In case you ever..." She saw three not so friendly looking males approached the newest patron but ignored it. "In case you ever need an escort or a guide to and through the Omegas I'm yer' gal."
