Mr. Platte, I do not believe we have spoken as of yet, however, allow me to keep this simple and brief.

You and your company are free to attempt a lawsuit against the Libertonian Department of Defense, specifically the Navy, if you feel so inclined.

However I should caution you that, of course -- We are a military organization, and therefore our operations are not usually governed by, or even related to civilian law. I do believe you will be hard-pressed to find a judge willing to stake his career on something like this.

Also I would be careful just whom you accuse of murder. The Department of Defense may have been in negotiations with Cold Lake Industries, however the fact remains that the facility was in violation of statutes governing national security -- as were the inhabitants of the facility in question.

And even still -- Naval Search and Rescue teams went into action immediately after the facility was destroyed, attempting to locate any survivors and treat their wounds.

Of course, I do not govern the Libertonian courts, nor anything outside of the Navy, so I am merely stating my intent to disagree with your claim.

I do not know if the courts will hear your case, but I do know that the Navy will fight this if it comes to it, and our JAG Corps lawyers are some of the best in Liberty.
