Biography:
Um.. hello! My name is Ashley Valent. I guess this bit is where I'm supposed to tell you about myself? Honestly I'm not sure where you want me to start. I'm an only child, my Daddy is called Jacob Valent* and my mom... died a little after I was born. Daddy doesn't like to talk about her. I'm sorry, I'm not sure what he does for a living* nowadays, but he's away from home a lot. I dont have any criminal convictions, and I havent moved any contraband. Well... not that I know of. I guess I'm pretty new up here in space. I only left Erie about 3 days ago so I don't know all the restricted items or much of politics. I generally just try and get on with everyone. Um... what else? I'm 5'2'' and mousey blond and... you know all this 'cos it uploaded my pilots lisence biometrics didn't it? Boy, I'm glad this just an audio log or you'd see me bright red about now.

I guess this may be considered a speculative C.V.* as it says you're not hiring, but thats ok. I've been in your Second Fleet now since I ran into Danny. He was really nice and helful and mentiond IMG to me, and a strange funny speaking man called Stroganov from something called Coalition was it? Anyway he said IMG were good too and I've enjoyed sort of Freelancing within the IMG affiliates for the past few days. OH! sorry, Danny works for Stone.Bros.Ltd/GmbH as ST1. He helped me trade in my Surveyor for a Hegehog... sorry I mean Hegemon, and I used that shipping Niobium to Denver to buy a shiney new yacht. I guess now I own three ships. My Yacht, my Hegehog, and a sporty little ship to sight see in (Ship warranties attached). I like mining. Its good, honest work, and hauling the ore means I get to meet a lot of nice new people. Some not so nice one too, and even glowey giant space squids! It's kinda scary out here, so I guess I just want to work with some like minded people. Mining alone is rewarding, but the lack of social contact can be wearing.

Employment history:

• Freelance mining: Worked for Danny in Penny mining helium, He is willing to provide a character reference on request* (Stone.Bros.Ltd/GmbH-ST1)
  
• Contracted Hauling and mining: Worked for Mr. Lancer for the past 2-3 days thus my full time in space *giggles*. Initially contacted to do some platinum mining, and upon further discourse contracted to assist construction of a trade port in Hudson. Bulk shipping work. He's recently founded a company I think, but it was done less than a few hours ago so I can't send you specifics at this time. I have not had the oppertunity to ask if he's willing to provide a reference*
  
• I have done exploration in my free time for fun. I'm welcomed in all colonial space including Gallia, however I am unwelcome in almost every unlawful area, including political disidents such as Mollys and stuff.
  
• Aditional day 4: purchased my MML lisence (valid 6 months) and Continued to work on assembling the station. I also work for Danny again, joining him on his trade route, and performed Helium and Niobium mining at various points.
  

Secondary Information:

Outline the Independent Miners Guild goals: *giggles* Self explanitory isnt it? Independant: Non-political, thus non-prejudiced. Mining: do I really have to explain this bit? Guild: a collection of like minded indeviduals working together towards a common goal or with a similar, co-operative method.

What can you contribute while inside the Guild ? I'm lovely, everyone will love me! *giggles again* Seriously though I enjoy what may be considered hard, honest work and want the company of similar people. For my own mental health reasons mostly.. I don't want to end up talking to Hegehog as there's no-one else nearby in the middle of an asteroid field. I'm happy in any role, be it transportation or mining, however I'd really, really like to avoid shooting if I can... please?

Which are your personal reasons for joining the Guild ? Also, which IMG Department would you like to be part of ? only having one department? ... I honestly dont mind. I'll take any opening you have. I'm joining to feel a little less overwhelmed working alone is making me feel.
I guess.. any but paramilitary. I'd rather not do that, but I'm willing to try my best if you need me to. Um... ejector seat and life pod maintenance checkups are covered by guild warranty right? Um... I guess I already mentioned a personal reason above.

I've got a filter on my babygirl's message box for legal resons. Reading through I can't see any issues. Allow me to explain and reassure you. I used to work for the Liberty government in R+D before I retired on personal grounds. I can't say more on the nature of my work due to the official secrets act, but for the reason I retired Ash has mentioned her mother... *gruffly* Anyhow, other than that my empoyment history is open knowledge. I'm been working as independant security, loosely affiliated with the Bounty Hunter's guild. I just didn't want you to deny her employment due to a gap in my own background.

Take care of my babygirl. She means the world to me, and I'd rather she find a different career than the one I'm in now.

P.S. oh, she doesn't know what I do for a living currently. She's a sweet girl and worries a lot on my behalf. Do us a favour and don't tell her what I do for work now will you? Cheers.
