(That isn't to say we won't respond in kind to a group that's been known to do that sort of thing to us in the past, but the point still stands.)
We won't go out of our way to do something like that in the [LN], Why? BECAUSE IT'S A DICK MOVE, plain and simple.
Wait, what? You make it look like it's Rheinland who started bringing Military/Navy ID'ed battleships into (edit: ) Capitol Systems, sieging bases, pwning stuff and so on.
You do understand that it was the other way around? Instead of q_q'ing on forums about that, we decided to just accept the new rules and play along.
As for caps vs snubs, I personally had enough instances of letting someone escape the battlefield, and then coming back with bomber swarm or caps, and getting myself wtfpwned as a result. I also had enough instances of observing a whole battle fleet, combined arms one, being annihilated by bomber swarm. Snubs are far from being harmless victims of capital ships. It (was) quite often the other way around. Ask hessians. edit: and LN bomber swarms. And sair bomber swarms. edit:also coalition, BAF and outcast bomber swarms. Also Reavers. I better stop here [/edit]
+, snubs always have the luxury of not getting involved in a fight or just run away while caps are fighting each other. Tactics, including your position on the map and your next move is also a part of the combat, so to say.
The above 2 paragraphs are not related to Rheinland only, I've participated in enough capfights, since I don't fly snubs at all. The only 4 cap-fielding factions I didn't fight for were Bretonia, Zoners, Dragons, IMG. Mollys dont count, since Rogues have same cruiser.
It's pretty much same, everywhere.
