Prior to shipping out to the Tau region, I felt it was necessary to get a handle on my Nyx fighter. I managed to join up with a small patrol consisting of the members listed above, both of the Warrant Officers roughly being new to the Colonial Military, like myself.
We started our patrol in the Coronado system. Our first encounter was an Outcast fighter who Sierra and Warrant Officer Mercer escorted out towards Tau-29, while Warrant Officer Chamberlain and I patrolled around Barrier Gate and Pecos, looking for anything or anyone that may cause unwanted trouble.
From there, Chamberlain and I regrouped with the others at the Baffin Jumphole and proceeded on a long distance patrol around the Tau region. Our first stop was the Rousslin system where we encountered a single Council Redemption, the CLT-Jean.Bart, I believe was the hull name. Upon ensuring Rousslin was clear from any aggravated threats, we proceeded into the Tau-29 region. Everything in system was surprisingly quiet as we made our patrol, near the end and upon our return, we crossed paths with an artificial intelligence cruiser that soon left without igniting any hostilities, despite Warrant Officer Mercer, and Agent Sierra's hatred for the machines.
Once the cruiser had disappeared from our sights, the patrol moved off towards Baffin, once more into Coronado, and then out into Cortez where the patrol split into two teams. Team one, consisting of Agent Sierra and Warrant Officer Chamberlain, and Team two, consisting of Warrant Officer Mercer and I. The teams went separate ways ensuring that both tradelanes to Manchester and California were secured. Of which, they were. (Mercer and I encountered a rookie patrol of Hackers which were quickly dispatched of.)
Upon returning to Coronado for a second time, Sierra decided to give us a tour of Colonial held space, and territory previously held by the Colonial Republic. He showed us a couple of key locations within Coronado in which I took this image with my gun cam. After this, we proceed our towards Tau-29 once more. It wasn't long until we found ourselves in Tau-39 with Sierra and Mercer discussing what happened during the Colonial Exodus. Personal details that I'll exclude here.
Upon making our way back towards Coronado, we encountered a Gallic transport that refused to drop it's cargo and demanded that we left Gallic owned space. The transport was quickly removed from service.
The patrol eventually made it's way back towards Coronado without much of a hassle and turned in for the night. I... myself... will now be heading down to the new bar that just opened up.
