By the way she was walking, one could have thought she was attempting to punish the ground for being unfortunate enough to be below her.

She stopped and, putting her hand on the wall, leaned on it for a short while lowering her head.
What if he came to hate her.. Or come to think she was simply cruel and unable to feel anything else towards anyone?

She sighed softly and started back to walk towards her quarters.

"What is it?" asked the woman, struggling to switch the feed to audio only.
"I am sorry to bother you, Commander Sanada, but we're having quite a peculiar situation here..."

The dock-master's voice sounded embarrassed. Did he find something personal she would have forgotten in her Chimaera? Or was it because...
"Yes?" She finally replied, repressing a yawn.
"We have a visitor..."
"Hmm? Did you capture him?"
"Yes."

Junko was almost considering to cut the transmission and get back into the tiny bed she just left.
"Why does it concern me anyway? You know the procedure, Lieutenant. Put them in custody and interrogate them."
"Yes. But this one claims to know you. The visitor claims to have vital informations and that she will only talk to you."

She slightly frowned, wondering what was that joke again. She finally said after cursing indistinctly :
"Just... Just give me ten minutes..."

"... The heck are you doing here?"
The girl shrugged and replied in a exaggerated tone :
"Hello Kyoko.. It's so nice to see you! How are you, my dearest friend?"

The only reaction of her interlocutor was to roll her eyes.
"Yes, That. Now tell me how did you get here."

She shrugged again.
"Took your ship."
"Which ship?"
"You know..." she started, before attempting to make a gesture of disdain despite her hand-cuffs.
"The one your lover rebuilt just for you?"

Junko stared at her friend with suspicion.
"How do you know that...? And wait. I have no lover."
"A bit late for denial, dear."
"Alright, i don't want to discuss about that. What are you doing here?"

Kyoko made a pause, wondering what would be the best way to put it.
"I was worried about you." She finally said.
"Yes?"
"Very."
"And?"
"How do you think i found you Junko?"

A silence between them two followed.
"Hello? Anyone home? No idea? Giving up? Or should i give you a clue?"
"Speak. I have no time for your games, Kyoko."
"Fine... You're quite boring today. I wonder what they did to you, here."
"Speak." said again the officer, more coldly this time.

She sighed.
"Your best friends know where you are."
Smiling, she then added.
"I can't believe you guys still use that obsolete encryption protocol..."
"You are telling me.. That the Naval Forces know about the fleet's location?" Patiently asked Junko.
"Obviously, since two battle groups are converging towards this very location?"

"God damnit! You couldn't have said so earlier?!" exploded Junko.
The girl shrugged once again, obviously not very impressed by her friend's rage.
"Wouldn't have been as funny..."

Junko quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the room.
"You're coming with me."
"Ouch... Not so fast.."
"Shup up and walk.. Oh and Kyoko... If you are playing a joke on me, i swear i will strip the flesh from your bones. One by one."
"Al...Right? You know you're scary when you're like that? But tell me..."
