Today one of our brave brothers was returned in his escape pod to Crete, he ran into some trouble with Brother Valentine. Seems Valentine was in Sigma-13 "donation collecting" as we like to call it. Not sure about all the details but they were attacked and followed to Sigma-17 by a Rheinland Cruiser. Banderas was called in as bomber support and soon the poor hunk of alloy was ripped to scrap for Tripoli. Before Banderas could return to get repairs he was engaged by an Outcast fighter. Valentine had gone for repairs and was on his way. Banderas took heavy damage, but Valentine saved the day. Nanobots and Shield Batteries were transfered keep his bomber in the air long enough for the Outcast to eat his mine. Banderas' ship limped back to Gamma with only miniutes of fuel left, to no avail. He made it to Theta before his fuel reserves and systems failed. As he drifted on a collision course with Planet Vespus, he ejected in time to watch his ship disentigrate in the atmosphere. Brother Valentine saved him once more however and brought him to us.

Thrid degree burns on 70% of his body
Ten inch gash on head with a piece of his ship's hull in it
Cracked skull from hitting his cockpit glass as it retracted
The surgery went well, we removed the shrapnel and repaired as much as we could. He will keep many scars though, much like a true Corsair! I am delighted to report he should be up and flying soon. Lucky man he is...
