First of all - i assume that you were actually carrying Gold (as in, a commodity) when this happened. So if that's true, the pirate meant you should drop your cargo, not your money. In order to do that, you press F7 (or whatever key you have for your inventory), select the Commodity Tab, select the item you want to drop (Gold in this case) and then press the Jettison button, which appears at the top-right corner.

Regarding your second question - what he used were Cruise disruptors. These are a special type of "rocket" that disables a ship's ability to use the Cruise engine. More information may be found here: http://www.discoverygc.com/wiki/Cruise_Disruptors
Also - the CDs can usually be countered with Countermeasures: http://www.discoverygc.com/wiki/Countermeasures

Thanks for your helpful answer , but i wasn't carrying gold , I was actually carrying hydrocarbons if I remembered right , also he asked me for 100k _ but he let me pass without paying anything at the end when he realized i am still beginner _ so i Suppose he wanted real gold , so the question still about the best way to pay a pirate gold , is it by /givecash command ?

another question I am facing it now , I am now a trader holding Interspace Commerce ID , so is mining legal for me ? or its only for those with mining ID ?
