' Wrote:They won't actually make these sounds in game... thats just silly. Correct me if I'm wrong but the sounds you have posted here are sounds we should endeavor to implant onto the game in our minds when we see you guys passing by.
And... I really like this, as in I REALLY REALLY like this. I know who the first ghost is, but the identity of the second is as yet a mystery to me. But I want to thank both of you for this...
Lots of very important stuff about how strong emotion can overcome almost anything and how if one feels strongly enough about something then it IS achievable.
Its both sad and in a way hopeful. Despite the fact that these poor lost souls are so tormented by their losses and betrayals, it gives rise to the hope that if a hatred this strong can do so much surely a more positive emotion can be equally powerful.
Thank you both.
Yes, Jihad is right. There's no way we can actually use those sounds inside the game. The purpose is to let you know what we mean when we write things in game like: *static*, *long breathing*, *screams of the wretched*; and more fully immerse on this RP. Those are supposed to be imagination aids for anyone interested in this story.
The whole idea is that, even though we are playing a space shooter video game, we are too stretching it to an RPG. A lot of us are here to play with our imaginations. Those sound are intended to provide the means for you to enhance that creative experience while giving you the first steps towards our vision of this story. That way, instead of just reading a silly *static* line, you'll actually recall the sound behind that and hopefully imagine your own version of a "ghostly static sound".
Besides that, thank you both, we appreciate the feedback.
