@Tonto: I'm going to Eurocopter school FOR the military as I take care of EC145 helos at my unit. I believe that Dallas Air Medical flies them.

@Marburg: I'm there most of July so I'm sure we can find some time. KC? My favorite football team plays there. GO CHIEFS!!

@Dancing Lady: Most of my friends are online. As Marburg said, if I decide to connect with someone, they've earned my trust AND I meet them in a public place.Years ago I met up with a group of my online friends at a buddy's house, flying to Georgia from New Hampshire to go. We had the time of our lives. No one got raped, mugged, murdered or robbed.....unless it was in the game server we built for the weekend.

@Agmen: I have a brother in Lawton, OK, also about 3 hrs out. I'm undecided on heading up that way. I intended to spend much of my free time at a waterpark on the weekend OR the hotel pool. I'm a Yankee who dislikes heat in the Texas summer. I remember Texas heat from the summer of 1988 when I was there. I don't imagine it's changed much.
