I see many of you have expressed your desire to enlist in the Black Fleet. Bien.
To Monsieur Rheis:
If only your "Valor" was kept in tact and brought to join our cause. Unfortunate. Et monsieur, I trust you. I trust that you know what should happen should you cross us, et if I ever do get my hands on you should you do anything rash. You are smarter than that monsieur.
Regardless, I am glad that your experience has shown the true face of the Royalist scum. That you know my desire for revenge, as well as many others within the Fleet. You hereby are accepted as a member of the Black Fleet. Bon fait monsieur. I look forward to seeing you soon.
To Monsieur Chatel:
I see you are accustomed to that of merchants and trade corporations. A valuable asset, non? One who knows the inner workings of many of the corporate practices and habits. Very beneficial to us, et as such I am glad you have sought us out. It is of benefit also that you have seen the result of those who voice their opinions to the crown, and their foul responses. You of course are the sort of man who understands them et understands the passion we have to ruin them.
As such, since you have the experience on the trade front monsieur, I cordially invite et accept your desire to join myself and the others within the Black Fleet, et perhaps we can find further use for you in the field of your expertise. Au Revoir.
To Monsieur Bellard:
A very young man to want to join a band of brigands and pirates monsieur. But what you lack for in age, you seem to make up for in desire for action. You may have heard of my reasons for hating the crown, as I make it no secret. But I understand the need for discretion. Your secrets are safe to be kept, so long as they do not interfere or hinder us monsieur.
The contract you signed, while it does bind you to me and my fleet, will not hinder you from exacting revenge. Far from it. With such a life bound to serve the Black Fleet, I can make no promises save this: That you will get your chance to hunt down the detestable Royals who destroyed your life et exact your revenge. As you have signed the contract, you are hereby accepted into the Fleet. You will serve, you will fight, and you will have glory!
To Monsieur Cromwell:
You hate the Royals, we hate the Royals. We talked, et you are accepted.
Lastly Messieurs, I ask but one thing. Whoever crosses your path, do what you must. But the nobles and royals you will spare et you will bring to me...
