A trespass into the staff conference room at Fort Bragg

Leon Chevalier stood, watching the scene unfold before him.

"I can show myself out." said the man. Chevalier smiled and followed him out the door.

"Mon ami" he called after him in a friendly tone. "Not all of us here are bound by regulations such as taste, decency and due process."

Catching up with him, he tapped the man on the shoulder. "I would like to add, while at present I work with the forces of this nation, I do not work for them... Only with..." He paused "This gives me a degree of freedom to act in a fashion that would not be considered becoming of an officer of the Liberty Navy."

Leon smiled warmly, before punching the man hard in the back of the head. He looked at him with something approaching pity, leaning in closer to whisper in his ear.

"Poor attempt mon ami. It is possible to manipulate the situation sometimes... Somehow, in this universe, many people find it possible to obtain information which they have no way of knowing. But if one such logical boundary is broken, I can also dictate your behaviour, guide your life, make you dance like a puppet on a string."

Leon grinned.

"Today, I will simply satisfy myself with punching you again."

He did.
