Yesterday I had an odd encounter at Java which really scared me, but um... some important things, I think... maybe..., came up. I'm linking in my comm transcripts and I'll append as appropriate what happened where and why I did things and stuff, ok?
At 10:10 Erie planetary time I was returning to my quarters on Java Station after one of many mining services I have performed for the < (HBTC)Pres-Andersan > when I saw two vessels fighting just 4K away from Java. One was a Junker tagged transport named < Zaltarias.Postreieseie >, and the other was a second fleet IMG pilot with the ship name of < Alina > with various civilian ships watching nearby:

I headed over a bit closer, scanned and saw he just had legal computer components and so um... since I dont like fighting, I tried to um.... get them to stop. Their weapons fire was reckless and could have damage the station.

The < IMG|Dolch > arrived from the field at this point and inquired what was going on. I said I was not sure and asked him to please take Alina's statement while I escorted the transport safely on his way.

Um... *shuffles nervously* this is where it got a bit scary. Half way towards the Leeds gate, roughly at the suns ecliptic, round the lattitude of the Orkney wormhole he um... said

and started to fire at me. I um... don't know why but I tried to bluff him and said 'your funeral', which of course failed and I had the most terrifying couple of minutes of my life.

I almost had a heart attack, I was shaking uncontrollably, I dropped all 70 nuclear mines, used almost all my shield batteries, and then resorted to potshots with my Civilian Antimatter Cannon. Thankfully < CR|-Patriot[49th] > came along at the very very end and helped a little too, no doubt coming to check why I hadn't returned. Please thank him for me if you see him, and um... can we give non guild members awardey medal thingies? Anyway, at the end:

Anyway I know this is very long, probably um... too long, but I wanted you to get a full picture of the incident. I um... thought maybe um... the mining and transport foreman should maybe um... be aware that Alina is an Outcast who could call in trouble if she spots us mining. Also that she possessed an I.M.G. ID card that may um... get us in trouble if she does something naughty and gets spotted causing us political trouble... also that Outcasts are um... probably mining our fields without authorization given she said she was here to fill up a cargo.

I should also note, she had chosen not to fire on me earlier that day in her Archangel ship in T-29 by the T-23 wormhole when I was test-flying my new Spatial, and attempted to lure me into a trap with a transport up in T-23 by asking for a hauler when I was mining in O-7 for < (HBTC)Pres-Andersan > and was surprised and pleased when I wished her a nice, safe day after declining being ambushed.
