So, because Thyrzul puts a lot of effort into playing the game and to ACTUALLY do roleplay like the server title implies, that makes him elitist?
EDIT: This is what I'm gathering from some posts here.

I think it's more of how his comments come off as sounding like "Nobody really knows how to do RP like 'x person', and therefore should not have PoBs or BSs, or whatever"

This strikes me as more elitist sounding, or at the very least just too cynical to be inclusive of new players. And Thys isn't the only one. This kind of attitude just seems not in the spirit of attracting more players to a server these same people also claim is dying. I think it's a bit of a disservice to assume every new player is an idiot and doesn't know how to RP, and therefore they must prove themselves to some group (be it Admins, Devs, or just old-timers who think they know what RP really is) who then decides whether they can have something or not.

I say better to leave the box of toys open, and apply more deliberate and appropriate punishments to those found abusing the rules, IDs, ships, etc.

sorry, I said I wasn't gonna post more, but I just thought I'd weigh on this.
