Here's my question - are Official Factions allowed to enforce their RP on unofficial factions with the same ID?

- If yes, then the current Zoner war is completely justified, and I think ZA is doing a great job making their own RP. That being said, I'm also eager to see it come to a conclusion if for no other reason than it has drawn the attention to literally half the server, and the rest of the place is dead.

-If no, then Phoenix (I think they are the Official Zoners on the server) and any other Zoner group attacking ZA should be sanctioned and Bastilled for violating their ID if it does state that they cannot attack other Zoners.

4.7 Official player factions have authority over players of the same NPC affiliation, as long as RP justification is provided. This authority applies in forums and in-game, and applies to player faction diplomacy, and strategic and tactical direction. However, exercise of that authority, on the forums and in game, is restricted to official faction members with the rank of the official faction leader and one rank below him/her. The authority may be exercised through the use of in-game in-RP orders, which, if not obeyed, can result in in-game in-RP consequences (arrest, court martial, and even "lethal" force in extreme circumstances). Official player factions cannot, under any cicrumstances, require another player to follow non-canon RP if that player doesn't want to.

In fact, I believe that this rule would have allowed the Phoenix to end the whole madness without it getting this far, and I think it is only their kindness that allowed ZA to continue the flow of their ignorant actions. Since ages it is the first occasion I think this rule could actually be useful.

Iv just read this statement and tbh that rule is just aimed at individuals not groups, if their rp is different as our's has become through activity and circumstance then where do we go from there? As for phoenix having allowed us to continue, that is far out there to even comment on.
