The idea that I came up with was to create a faction that will represent all the zoner bodies, official and none-officials alike, much like the corsair elders, comprised by different influencial families in the corsair nation.
This does not mean it kills the factions themselves, but it does mean it will be responsible for the stuff that generaly involves zoners.
My image of this faction resembels the "United Nations" - legal orginization comprised by various countries. Why? Well I think its better than what we currently have, I personaly think that it will prevent any "unwanted" conflicts and will restrain faction leaders to decide for their own in things that reflect on us all.
I know what you're thinking, and its not about the old ZTC and the etc, it will be different but will be similiar at the same time.
The faction will be diplomatic in nature when it comes to other people ( none-zoners ) - 3xZoner or "angry zoner" are the exact things that the orginization is going to fight for and hopefully decrease its "popularity".
The orginization will not take full control of everything, for example, livadia is under the ownership of Phoenix, they decide what to do with it, but they should cooperate if the need arises ( won't be any problem there as they are reasonable and friendly ) - Or TAZ who owns Baffin, while Baffin is completely under the control of the TAZ, it does not mean the orignization will have the power to change TAZ laws regarding the system, but again they should cooperate if its for the greater good.
However, it will have a legal status to do what it takes to enforce the "amendments" that will be written down in the suggested "constituion"
Democracy of today in the RL has its faults, but its the best form of "government" or a "way of handeling things" at the present moment.
To anwser the more "critical" questions, this is not an attempt to build a "government" or an empire, nor it will be hostile and start waging wars onto others. It will be fully "democratic" right from its foundation, and it will only pass resolutions/decisions upon a mutual agreement of all the factions or in a card play of who has the more "A's". This will kill the fake notion of "biased" players who have multiple characters in opossing factions and it will sort out things logicaly & according to the evidence.
I want you lads to have an open mind, Im taking this step to ensure that the stuff that happend during this month will not repeat itself and will have a safe network of communication between factions. I would like to hear from the zoner faction leaders what they think, but hopefully it will be welcomed.
I haven't written down everything, but I will do so soon. One thing that I ougth to say, Im not going to be the "president", like board meetings, you have the chairman and the board members, the chairman can pass only temporary resolutions which then must be approved by the other board members.
It's like the president passing a law that has to be accepted later on by the senate else it falls.
