Agree, zoners were loose confederation in vanilla, social self-outcasts and feaks living on the outskirts of known to mankind space, neutral and very few in numbers. What Discovery has done with that faction is just retarted, they shouldn't be allowed to fly anything bigger than gunboat and 3.6k transport.
In a current state zoners are overpowered cap-wielding faction with 5kers, trade routes outside house space and overpowered diplomacy, what makes playerbase trades as them instead of House corporations, blood of activity in that game. The better diplomacy faction has, the less trading abilities it should have.
Zoners arent really a faction. because of the vast difference between zoners.
The ones who give zoners bad names are the indies who dont follow the rules and ID.
Not saying all zoner indies are bad, but there are bad apples.
a few things to note:
1. Except for OSI, zoners cant dock on non-zoner bases with anything larger than 3.6k cargo space. as a trade-off for that, they are limited to gunboats. no caps.
2. Over powered diplomacy? neutrality is over-powered?
3. Do you even know anything about what zoners are and arent allowed to do?
