For most non vector images, you just need proper interpolation is all.

just some images don't interpolate too well.

upsizing is generally bullsoftware will try its best but it'll never fully retain quality on complex images.

I tried interpolating a 240p iece of porn I found and it didn't work too well.

edit: sides, pixelated images don't look too bad compared to bad compression. starcraft cutscenes are arguably better looking than a lot of the hd content around.

No atmosphere? GTFO.
