Several hours ago, the SCRA Task-Force stationed in Omega-49 quietly withdrew. It was hoped that without our presence, the Corsairs would cease their attacks on civilian targets. I would like to clarify that the only Coalition settlement that existed was a Bretonian Refugee Camp that was destroyed on first contact.

Any further bombardments are hitting targets that have no affiliation to the SCRA. In short, despite the claims made by the Corsairs, they are indeed waging war on a civilian populace.

Furthermore, these accusations that the SCRA continues to engage in war crimes makes me red with rage. We bombarded one target which we believed to be a Corsair Military Base. When we discovered that it was indeed a civilian settlement, we immediately ceased all orbital strikes and withdrew the Havana.

To continue to imply that we are committing war crimes against the civilians of Omega-49 is to spit in the face of everything the Sirius Coalition holds true and quite simply, a lie.

I hope it has become apparent to all of you too blind to have seen before that the Corsairs are simply trying to conquer Omega-49. Despite our efforts in trying to warn you of this, you have opted to play the Ostrich. One merely has to see through their facade of their "crusade" against the SCRA to know that it is merely justification for your oppression.

The SCRA will continue to do what it can, but we will not continue to shed our blood if the only result is us being made out to be the enemy by the inhabitants of this world.
