People of Omega-49,
It should be obvious by now what the Corsairs intend. They have already landed on your planet and declared themselves to be your masters whether you realize it or not. They have enacted martial law and established military outposts. This is clearly a military occupation.
The civilian casualties that the Corsairs continue to inflict remains high and their occupation continues to grow. The SCRA is reaffirming its commitment to Omega-49. We cannot and will not allow the Corsairs to establish a stronghold in the system. To do so would be to endanger everything that we have ever fought for.
The time for a peaceful solution ended when the Corsairs began to use nuclear and biological weapons against the civilians of this world. Despite what their propaganda may tell you, these weapons will have a far-reaching effect on the planet.
As of this moment the SCRA is deploying all available forces to the campaign to expel the Corsairs from Omega-49. We will crush the Corsairs in space, we will do so on the ground if need be. It is our desire to prevent such drastic measures but do not be fooled, preparation is already underway to counter the Corsairs on the ground. It is up to the people of Omega-49 to rise up and expel the Corsair invaders lest our hand be forced.
The Corsairs have been allowed to do as they please in this sector for too long. No more. We will crush them, we will decimate them, we will tear their ships into scrap metal and we will make them pay with their lives. They will learn to fear us as they have before, running like rats to the safety of their bunkers on Crete.
Let me be abundantly clear on this to all the people of Omega-49. We will not interfere with your humanitarian efforts, we will not interfere with your defenses of Gran Canaria orbit but we will absolutely not tolerate you sitting idly by while the Corsairs strengthen their grip on Gran Canaria. To allow this to happen is to aid the Corsair Empire.
