If PoBs were easier to build and maintain, and therefore easier to destroy, ZA wouldn't be on anyone's radar. But that topic that's been beaten like a proverbial dead horse.
Judging from the atitudes in game and on the forums, the ZA needs to tighten up it's RP and aim for consistency. Other than that, full steam ahead, pay attention to the basic server rules and have fun.
That said, I like the idea of a more assertive Zoner RP subtype. It gives someone wanting to play a Zoner more flexibility. Not everyone in the Omicrons wants to play an unlawful, an Order or Core character. A Zoner can be an explorer, researcher, humanitarian, colonist, merchant and mercenary - even a bit of all of the aforementioned.
Factions in this universe evolve, including the Zoners. The ID should probably be regionalized and the Order should no longer be an ally. I never really understood that bit of logic, especially since the BH presence on most Freeports is considerable. FP11 even offers BH missions vs. the Order. You'd think the Order might take issue to that sort of business happening on a Zoner operated Freeport.

Mainly because the Order have supplied and supported the Zoners more often then the Hunters, as well as the Ties the Order has with the Zoners, look at the Hathor Gunship, even its modded after the Zoner Conferance. The Zoners have also for years supplied those on Minor before the nomads attacked and evacuated the Freeport in Delta when the Nomads attacked.
In that turn, the Order and Zoners are like Best friends. They are kinda like the Military force in the Omicrons, stopping smugglers, nomads, researching and planing.
The Zoners have then helped the Order build their ships, grow their planets and so on and so forth.
The only reason the BH's have missions on the freeports is because thats where Hunters hold down a lot of times, in good or bad company.
Now in these's turn of events, the Order wanted to mediate was going on in Omicron 74, however when push comes to shove, they were more like asked to support in stopping what was going on, in which turned into blockades, which turned into shooting bases which ended with the Order going to war with the ZA

This is very true, we can be anything we wish, and if the ZA want to hunker down in 74 and make a fortress the Order does not like, no one is stopping them. however they have to understand this will anger some parties causing them to take action. Hence why the Brotherhood and corsairs acted, some for good, some for bad. Other indies got caught up in this war as well, some by accident, some just wanted to.

Like I said, Zoners do what they want, there is no rules stating they can't, if some Runners want to be on the war front, who cares, as long as they are not attacking, I don't care. Plus i'm not the leader of the Solar Runners, that's Moveit56, Me, Explorer, Joe, Ghost Radical, and Occam
We work by a network of Councilmen, not one leader, all councilmen have a say of what might happen or will happen before a action is taken. So really, don't just blame one person for whats going on.

I agree that inability (as you say) to communicate is a bit irritating, but you have what you want: "RP with guns, PVP=RP" and so on.
Did these guys raid NY? NB? As far as I understand they simply sit at Omi-74 and maintain their stronghold, while you bring characters from all over the Sirius to provoke them (hence agreed, that silent engage is no good, but if you were true roleplayer, you wouldn't complain about that, see RL).
You make them look like a universe-evil, while being troll yourself. Because it is easier, and because [Angels] seem to not to do their job.
Then, after all, you complain about Disco is dying and activity is low. I say - eat that.
You are correct in many ways, but as you also stated, its RP, we may be aggressive to the Zoner Alliance and want them dead but that's in RP.
In the least, we all have RP'ed the attacks, i'll say it, some people could of done better RP. however as you stated, all Zoners have their own way of life, if we want to destroy the ZA with the help of the Order, who is to say we cant?
Or who is to say the ZA cant ally with the Corsairs or another faction?
If anything, the ZA only have to yell about some Silent attacks and OORP actions, beyond that we can yell back

OORP, We all do it sooner or later, annoyance or anger can get the better of us
Silent attacking, Same with the OORP, everyone does it sooner or later
Rengagging, OK, everyone does this in some form or another, this is true, I've done it before in the past.
Trolling, I've seen the ZA do this in system chat, and as well as other players not part of the ZA... Even I have trolled in the past...
This is not about rage or attacking, its about the RP war front

But the ZA are at as much fault as anyone else here.
I can list a few things the ZA did, and here they are sence no one else wants to
Rengagment on ZA Falcon, ZA Juggernaughts and transports
Trolling in system chat dont via Falcon, Zigzag, Search&Rescue and Tel
Threaten with Reporting, i had tons of players say the ZA did such...
Logging on other ships to Attack others, i've seen this myself...
Attempt to take over stations they don't own, and landing on enemy stations, Livida belongs to Phoenix who have locked it down from the ZA, odd how they can still dock on it
Powergammed soldiers got on your stations and you killed them, ive seen the RP...
OORP in local and system chat, i've seen that, we got SS's all over the place on disco of that...
now on our end?
Powergaming and metagamming yes, but elite factions somewhat have the right to do such
Trolling in system and local commonly but not much anymore
Logging other ships to attack the ZA, I've done this myself..
