OORP or not?

leaves the question if not the balance would be improved if people really stuck to their RP equipment only. - if only the orders allies used high level armor upgrades, zoners, order, corsairs would have a lot of hull. but only outcast allies would be able to use infernos ( capital grade ) - so they would take down shields a lot quicker.

outcasts would have awesome shield busters to damage the targets hulls a lot faster than the corsair side would be able to do. - but once they were shieldless, their hulls would go down faster.

i don t think this concept is perfectly balanced right now - but it would be worth checking it out how it really would look like if armor and equipment was really bound to the factions.

it may aswell favour the outcast side. cause the high level armorplates would only be available to the corsairs ( zoners and order hardly really attack the outcast side, but might only defend if attacked ) - while on the outcast side, basicly everyone of their many allies would have access to inferno technology.
