DarkStar's own launch was preceeded by two wings...
One wing of Sabers flew out, and spat red death at enemy fighters. "This is Razor leader to all Razor units, for up on me! We'll concentrate our fire on indevidual ships." The Saber ships spread out in a delta formation and began mowing down any fighter in their path. The second wing was different.
"This is Gamma 1, beginning torpedo run now..." Three Taiiden Bombers swooped down on Dabs ship. With DarkStar's Inferno's taking out the shields, the heavy Nova Torpedos slammed into the superstructure unhindered. Gamma broke away to target the next ship, the Maul.

However, after these ships came an assault shuttle. It slipped quietly down below the Jinsei-Akki. Then its engines flared to full life and smashed through the docking doors.

Inside the docking bay, things went from bad to worse. The prow of the assault shuttle punched through the docking bay doors and into the bay itself. A Wildfire Chaingun poped out from its cover and flung torrents of red energy into the other ships already here. The AW shuttle's engines were torn to shreads, and one ship was cloven in two before the front doors on the shuttle were opened. Out came the 6 commandos and DarkStar. The two with chainguns opened fire, punching holes the size of fists in people with the heavy 50 caliber rounds. They were armor peircing as well, and the small explosive charge in each bullet were devastating. Bone chips, gore, and blood were splattered everywhere, and that was before the other four with the Flechette guns opened fire. While the chainguns the commando's used were blowing people in half, the flechettes were cutting them to shreads, litteraly. One of the AW marines took a burst from a Flechette gun and fell in 7 peices. And then DarkStar arrived. He simply pulled a small metalic cylender out from his jumpsuit and activated it. AW marines started falling, clutching their ears and screaming as their internal organs began to liquify. Within 20 seconds, the docking bay became quiet. Nothing but the sound of blood and gore dripping down and a small whine as the chainguns spun down to cool.

Shieks was going back in to assist with his 5 when the Phantoms killers arrived, bearing death incarnate. One of the AW marines had closed the blast doors behind him to shield them from the amazing ammount of firepower the Phantoms brought. He turned back after locking it, holding his side. It was drenched with red blood. "Sir... I don't think... we can get out... with the shuttle... Have to... warn... others..." He fell over, dead. One of the flechettes had sliced through his right side like a razor through rice paper.
