If it's necessary, I can set it up on the same host where this forum resides. It's not a huge problem. Maybe ship/system developers would be interested in sharing the news and knowledge? For them, it should be more convenient than posting on forums.

As for general information pages, I'm afraid not many people would contribute.

Maybe clarify what you exactly mean by general information? I could spend some of my free time for help..

Well, we would probably need a thread for editing the character section for example on that site, wherein people would post their characters and we would edit the section as the official characters of the Discovery RP 24/7. We would need to do that on Disco forums though, for the feedback from the people since it would be the easiest way to deal with it. Posted character names would be added as the official characters of Discovery. Thus, a similar method could be applied for the other sections. Yet, the project needs to be evaluated and observed in details to settle on the most efficient working method. And I would personally like to avoid the faction tags but only the names..
