I think I understand a little, FF12 was first jrpg i played (didnt bother with ps2 before), part of the reason i like it so much.
And funny thing about rpgs in general: I played both morrowind/oblivion, so skyrim bored me VERY fast. Played dragon age origins, DA2 bored me even faster. Enjoyed mass effect 1, I still hate mass effect 2/3. Didnt even bother with any FF after 13, and for good reason.
And funniest part: i played both persona/xenosaga quite recently, not a single negative emotion. I'm also looking forward to playing KOTOR, much more than new ME. Its nice question where progress ends and degradation starts in games.
