This event is a continuation of the Nagata Infection plot, more specifically Mikako Takahashi's survival and capture, although it doesn't directly involve [KNF]. Its intention is to advance the search for Takahashi and tie the LSF into the plot as a whole.
With the new Task Force Carentan operating in the Taus, a joint Colonial and LSF wing of fighters will be gathering intelligence on GRN patrols in the Tau-29 system, as set out by the Tau Decree. While they are patrolling the Shinkaku side of the system, they pick up a signal from a KNF distress beacon. Pinpointed by the Euryphaessa's scanner array, they discover an empty escape pod and its blackbox, but are soon set upon by a Contari Lance wing who also picked up the signal. A fight ensues, and either the Outcasts are beaten off or the Colonials/LSF side flee to the safety of the cruiser to 'safely recover the blackbox'. What exactly is done with it shall be decided in later events.

What we've went for here is a 4v4 fighter brawl at 1700 GMT on Sunday the 14th July. Participants only of course, but other than that there aren't any additional rules. Either side can run when they are heavily losing, but this is more likely for the non-Outcasts since they have an important piece of data to preserve. If there are some number problems for CL}, a 101st or two could sign up to make it up to four. I did suggest this at the start but supposedly Prysin wasn't interested - members could still be in my eyes.

I'll either be on my Nyx, CR|-Sage[17th], or if we've got two eager CR|s I can fly the Euryphaessa rather than leaving it as an inRP presence only. Obviously a Thanatos would imbalance the fight, so I don't plan on bringing it much further than the Baffin hole and it won't involve itself in the brawl on the other side of the system.
